Tim Scales is a New York–based creative leader crafting culturally resonant, emotionally charged work for brands built to be remembered.
As Group Creative Director at Robinhood, he leads the award-winning Brand Defining team, working closely with founders and executives to help the company evolve from a product-led disruptor to a brand with cultural weight. He plays a pivotal role in steering the work—from emotional storytelling to system-level brand design—that has redefined how Robinhood shows up in the world.
Tim’s career spans both agencies and leading tech brands, with a body of work ranging from Squarespace’s Super Bowl campaigns with Dolly Parton to Robinhood’s recent rebrand. Along the way, his teams’ work has earned recognition at D&AD, One Show, and other top industry awards.
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Tim is passionate about building lean, high-performing in-house teams and creating agile systems that allow creativity to keep pace with the speed of technology. His belief: the best brands don’t just grow—they grow up.
